At Insight Psychiatry & Counseling we aim to promote mental health awareness and to provide the highest quality of compassionate and specialized care to patients. Jasmin Adamson, LCSW and Brittany Wilson, DNP, PMHNP-BC joined forces in 2024. After collaborating on many cases and envisioning a better future for mental health to serve the greater community, they recognized an unmet need for collaborative mental health services. The decision to develop a combined practice where patients can benefit from psychiatry and psychology under one roof came organically. Together, their mission is to make mental health care more accessible for all walks of life.

If you have ever struggled with understanding why you are on a certain medicine or how it interacts (or in my case why you couldn’t sleep when it turns out your PCP never told you that the medicine they put you on was a stimulant) then call her. Brittany is by far the most helpful of any psychiatrist I’ve ever been to, and trust me, I’ve been to a lot. She’s bubbly and SO sweet. She keeps an open line of communication which is extremely important to me. It seems that she truly takes an individual approach. She is genuinely in the business to help people, and goes above and beyond for her job. I would recommend her to anyone.

I avoid going to any Doctor like the plague. Nothing ever seems to go right and it’s always a stressful experience. However I will say from the get go it’s never been stressful , overwhelming , concerning or anything with Brittany!!

My standards are very high when it comes to a lot of things. The experience with this practice has exceeded expectations every time with no issues.

Great communication , wonderful explanations and most important a comfortable environment to get the care you need.

Dr. Wilson was very thorough and asked a lot of questions, she is extremely professional and very easy to talk to, it feels as if you are talking to a close friend or family member. The entire process was very easy and convenient. She provides in office services and telemedicine as well making it easy to keep appointments. This was my first visit but I couldn’t imagine seeing another provider. 10/10 would recommend to ANY and EVERYONE looking for a psychiatric provider. Kudos Dr. Wilson!
